Shelbourne Development purchased this 1960’s office building located close to Dublin’s premier street, O’Connell Street, in December 2004 in a swap deal involving the Lidl supermarket in Moore Street Plaza (developed by Shelbourne) being transferred to the vendor.The building had obvious development potential being close to all transport links and adjacent to the main shopping area of Dublin. Following a period of active property management, Shelbourne sold the building on at a substantial profit to a “special purchaser”, the neighbouring Clery’s Department Store in late summer 2006.
