17-19 Sycamore Street, originally a substantial purpose-built commercial warehouse and office built for the Bewley family circa 1850, was acquired early in 1996 and subsequently planning permission was granted to redevelop into a restaurant with 7 loft style apartments overhead.
The property was part of the early redevelopment plans for the now legendary Temple Bar rejuvenation project. Since the early 1990's, the Temple Bar area has taken on international prominence and has become a leading example of urban regeneration and renewal.
