Shelbourne Development acquired this 19.5 ha site which lies within the proposed Clonburris Eco District in south county Dublin.  Supported by rail, dedicated bus corridors and lying adjacent to the main western arterial route out of Dublin City, South Dublin County Council (SDCC) describes Clonburris as “the best connected public transport site outside the city centre”.  The planning application was submitted to SDCC in April 2009 and was approved in February 2010.  The development will comprise of 898 'green' homes and 6,089 square metres of retail and business space which will include a creche, community centre and extensive communal parks.
